About Us
The Saboon Care Story
Where it all
began....
A close family member was living with eczema, and it made us think more carefully about the products we use every day. We began to notice how much contact our hands have with dishwash, handwash and household cleaners—and how uncomfortable frequent cleaning can sometimes feel.
At the same time, I was starting married life and learning how much work goes into caring for a home.
Cleaning became part of my daily routine, and I started looking for products that felt more suitable for frequent use. But I struggled to find household cleaners that matched what I was looking for: effective cleaning, thoughtfully selected ingredients, carefully adjusted pH and a more skin-conscious approach.
So I began making my own formulas.
What started as a personal DIY journey became Saboon Care—a brand created for people who want a clean home without overlooking the hands doing the work.

Questions worth asking
Because knowing what is in the products you use every day matters.
Why does Saboon Care describe its products as skin-conscious?
Our products are formulated with mild surfactant systems, carefully adjusted pH levels and thoughtfully selected ingredients, with everyday hand contact in mind.
Are Saboon Care products chemical-free?
No. Everything, including water, is made of chemicals. Instead, we focus on using thoughtfully selected ingredients and avoiding certain ingredients we do not want in our formulas.
Do your products contain SLS or SLES?
Our current Saboon Care formulas are made without SLS and SLES.
Do your products contain chlorine bleach or ammonia?
No. Our current formulas are made without chlorine bleach and ammonia.
Do your products contain MIT or BIT preservatives?
Our current formulas are not intentionally formulated with MIT or BIT preservatives.
Do you use allergen-free fragrance?
Yes. We source allergen-free fragrance specifically for our formulations.
Does allergen-free fragrance mean nobody can react to it?
No. Individual sensitivities can vary. “Allergen-free” refers to the specification provided for the fragrance, not a guarantee that no individual can ever experience a reaction.
Are Saboon Care products pH tested?
Yes. Each finished formula is pH tested and carefully adjusted for its intended use.
Current approximate pH levels:
- Handwash: pH 5.1
- Dishwash: pH 5.8
- All Purpose Cleaner: pH 6.3
- Kitchen Cleaner: pH 6.3
Have your products been microbiologically tested?
Yes. Finished products have undergone microbial testing to assess microbiological quality.
Has the preservative system been tested?
Yes. Our preservative systems have undergone preservative challenge testing.
Does preservative challenge testing mean the product can never become contaminated?
No. It assesses how effectively the preservative system controls microbial contamination under test conditions. Good storage and hygienic use remain important.
Are Saboon Care products safe for sensitive skin?
They are formulated with a skin-conscious approach, but no cleaning or personal-care product can be guaranteed suitable for every individual.
Can cleaning products still dry my hands?
Yes. Frequent washing, prolonged water exposure and repeated detergent contact can contribute to dryness even when a milder surfactant system is used.
Should I wear gloves while cleaning?
For normal short-duration cleaning, gloves may not always be necessary. For prolonged cleaning or if your skin is sensitive, cracked or irritated, gloves are recommended.
Is Saboon Care suitable for eczema?
We do not claim that our products are eczema-safe unless specifically tested for that purpose.
What should I do if irritation occurs?
Stop using the product and rinse the affected area with clean water. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Can I mix Saboon Care products with other cleaners?
No. Do not mix household cleaning products unless specifically instructed.
Can I use household cleaners on food-contact surfaces?
Where the surface is compatible, wipe or rinse thoroughly with clean water after cleaning.
Can I use Saboon Care products on marble or natural stone?
We recommend testing first on a small hidden area because natural stone and sealers can vary.
Are Saboon Care cleaners disinfectants?
No, unless a specific product has undergone the appropriate efficacy testing for that claim.
Are Saboon Care cleaners antibacterial?
We do not make antibacterial or germ-killing claims unless supported by appropriate finished-product testing.
How should I store Saboon Care products?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Keep containers properly closed when not in use.
Should cleaning products be kept away from children and pets?
Yes. Keep all household cleaning products out of reach of children and pets.
What should I do if the product gets into my eyes?
Rinse immediately with plenty of clean water. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Can I transfer the product into another bottle?
It is best to keep products in their original labelled packaging. If a refill or dilution system is specifically provided, follow the instructions carefully.
How long can I keep the product?
Follow the shelf-life and storage information shown on the product packaging.
Why doesn't Saboon Care simply use stronger cleaning chemicals?
Our products are designed mainly for everyday household cleaning. We aim to balance practical cleaning performance with a more considered formulation approach.
What makes Saboon Care different from conventional cleaners?
We focus on mild surfactant systems, carefully adjusted pH, ingredient transparency, allergen-free fragrance and testing such as microbial and preservative challenge testing.
Does “mild” mean the product cannot cause irritation?
No. Mildness refers to the formulation approach and relative irritation potential. Individual responses can still vary.
Why does Saboon Care focus on hands?
Hands are frequently exposed during washing, dishwashing and household cleaning. That is why hand comfort is an important consideration in how we formulate our products.
